Learning PlaceThis arrived at a very good time for myself. In EPL 1 this term I am getting ready to plan and perform my first LEP. Even though I am not in my disipline area I have needed to find and learn about the "Expansion on Solids, Liquids and Gases" and conduct the lesson on Monday ( very excited ). So I was able to look into my year level and look through in the cirriculm exchange and find some info about solids and particles which was useful. For this lesson I didn't find anything I could use but I know there will be many more LEPs and a next time. I know where to go and navigate around which is the main point.
Edheads " Activate your Mind"
I had a play around with this activity with my 4 year old daughter, who just lately is showing a huge interest in computers and how they operate. Whilst performing " Knee Surgey" and " How to fix a car" on Edheads with my daughter and after said to me said to me; 'I want to be a doctor when I grow up Mum'and I thought to myself what a great way for students to expose themselves to career paths and find out a little more about certain employment paths. That's my thoughts.
